Weekly Tarot
The use of Tarot cards, which originated in the early 15th century, has evolved and changed over the years. When the cards were invented, they were originally seen as a status symbol and were used for a game, similar to modern-day bridge. By the 18th and 19th centuries, they took on a spiritual and mystical purpose and became widely used for divination. Since then, their use has become less spiritual and for many not spiritual at all. Tarot cards are now used as a tool to guide self-care, simple meditation, and to gain insight about oneself.

Think of the weekly tarot card pull as a way to turn inward and gain insight about yourself. They can be used as a simple tool to help you focus on and make decisions about things that are already going on inside you.
The weekly pull can be used to set an intention for the week, a topic for meditation, and to guide journaling.
Each Monday, I will pull a card for the week. The card, along with its meaning, will be posted on Instagram and the Bloom Wild Yoga website.
Invite you to join and follow along. Here’s how:
1. Look at the image; taking mental note on what flower it is.
2. Listen to the card description and what it means.
3. Meditate on the card. (This can be as short or as long as you like and in any form. Maybe that's a classic meditation or maybe it is done during a walk, during knitting, etc...
4. Think about how to apply the concept to your life and what you are feeling.
5. Take a few moments to journal about the card (what card it is, the flower...), your thoughts, and any intentions or goals you set for yourself.
*This can be done in one session on Monday or maybe this is something you work on throughout the week. This is about you, for you so it is important that you structure it to fit your life.
xx
